Start analysis

For each link which is defined in an Entry network, there is an optimum number of channels which need to be provided. If too few channels are installed, then calls are lost. If too many channels are installed, then the circuit rental charges become unnecessarily high. Westplan can work out the best number of channels to provide on each link. Use the Start Analysis command to start the Optimisation process.

If this analysis has not been carried out before on this network, then the Westplan logo will start to spin. A bar at the bottom of the window will also show you how the analysis is progressing. When the logo stops spinning, you will see another network drawing. Each link will have changed colours to show the changes which took place with each link.
