If you are using the quintum for termination, then there is no requirement to have it register to the sip server, though without this, there will be some security issues.

For origination (quintum to sip), quintum does require sip server registration.

Dear all,

Can quintum support SIP passthrough (which mean without register on SIP server).Basically we have problem connect with Asterisk using DX2030.Our provider only provide an IP to us and relay the call without register to SIP.
